FAQs
What is the warranty
Aussie Pumps offer a unique extended five-year pump-end warranty across all their QP and Smart Pump range which is backed with 3 year Honda engine warranty for the petrol engines, the Yanmar diesel driven engines are backed with a 2 year warranty.
Are these engines genuine Hondas?
Aussie only use genuine Honda commercial series GX petrol engines. Aussie Pumps also couple some of their wet end kits to the genuine Honda GP series engine that comes with a two year domestic only warranty. Aussie Pumps is a platinum partner meaning any Aussie product coupled with a Honda engine can be serviced by an authorised Honda agent worldwide.
Are they a self-priming pump?
Yes, the Aussie Pumps range is completely self-priming up to 7 metres. Meaning easy to maintain and service. All it takes is filling the pump body and starting the engine.
Why should I choose a twin impeller over a single impeller?
Choosing the correct pump for the job is very important. The single impeller is great for high pressure water transfer however producing a flow a head of 75m and a flow of 450 lpm. Introducing a second impeller has the effect of increasing the head (or pressure) by approximately 25% to 95m, with an increased flow rate of 500 lpm. The twin Impeller is a good option where extra pressure is needed or when you can use the extra head or pressure to pump over an incline.
Can I get electric start?
Yes, electric start option is available on Aussie range of firefighting, transfer, trash and Smart Pumps.
Are spare parts available?
Yes, spare parts are available, we carry a wide range of spare parts for all products they manufacture.
